So just in case anyone happened to miss Opera "outrage" that she went to Hermes and they wouldn't let her in.
According to her own words she arrived at 6:45, though they closed @ 6:30, and was told they were in the process of closing the store.
For anyone who has worked in retail this is the norm. Close at 6:30, people in the store at that time can finish shopping, person at the door stops new people from coming in. Apparently Opera was insulted that SHE could not go in. Any joe-shmoe would have stopped there, but Opera cannot be treated this way.
She goes home, pulls the race card, calls the president of Hermes, makes a mess of this whole situation. Drops the hint to her audience to boycott the store ect. until she gets satifaction from Hermes.
So basically she probably got a few people fired in Hermes because they failed to let HER in, threatened to hurt the sales of the Store by having her group boycott it, made the president of Hermes give her a personal appology all because she wanted to get her big fat ass into a store that was Closing / Closed and could not.
She said "do you know how bad it feels to be turned away?" - shows she has lost touch with the common person and can not stand being treated like one.
How can people (women) support her on this one?
